I'm pleased to write this letter of recommendation for DB Technologies. The City of Durango has benefited from a long-term business relationship with Bill Woodard, Dave Hawkins and their committed staff at DB Technologies.
The City of Durango has had numerous fiber infrastructure projects in the last 10 years for which DB Technologies has consistently been low bidder. They've delivered high quality aerial and underground fiber installation, conduit and pullbox placement and fiber splicing services. In the last 10 months, DB Tech has provided of $300,000 of services to the City of Durango and La Plata County as part of a Southwest Colorado Council of Governments state-funded fiber infrastructure project.
DB Tech's flexibility in responding to small jobs that come up on short notice adds to their value as a vendor partner. Bill and his crew also perform a great deal of fiber installation and splicing services for private and co-op telecom providers in the area, and with this knowledge, are able to assist with technical collaboration on public-private fiber partnerships when requested.
Trust is a crucial component in any vendor relationship and DB Tech always performs within scopes of work and communicates clearly and change orders they feel are necessary. Quotes are turned around in a timely manner, invoicing is accurate, and weekly project update meetings are adhered to and informative.

I am writing this letter of recommendation for DB Technologies because I would like to highly recommend Bill and his crew to anyone considering hiring a contractor to do any type of fiber work. DB Technologies works with us on a fairly regular basis with all of our fiber installation needs. Most recently they helped install several miles of fiber to help connect our remote facilities across town to our main campus. Bill is always able to quickly give us a bid and work the jobs into his schedule.
Bill and his crew are total professionals. They are amazingly considerate of our needs and situation in healthcare. They go out of their way to minimize disruption as much as possible. The crew is always reliable, arrive on time, and put in full days when needed until the job is done. If for any reason the crew ran into any hurdles or scheduling conflicts, Bill always keeps us informed and offers to be on site and available if we needed anything. The jobs are always completed on time, and the craftsmanship is excellent. They do not cut any corners to save a few dollars - everything is done right and to my specs. I feel we get top quality craftsmanship at a good price, and I do not think we could hire anyone else locally who could do as good a job as DB Technologies.
