David M. Hawkins, Chief Executive Officer

David is the President and Chief Executive Officer of DB Technologies, Inc. Co-founder of the company in 2003, David has over 20 years of experience in the utilities and fiber optics industries. Prior to forming the company, David served in an executive position with Public Service Company of New Mexico — a position he retired from after 18 years of service.

David’s certifications include: Optic Technician for FiberLite International, Lead Splicing Technician and Quality Control Engineer for Level 3. He was a quality control engineer for Gilbert Western. David brings expertise in the fiber optic network design and engineering of inside and outside plant systems. He has managed the installation of long-haul and last-mile fiber systems from job consulting and estimation to final testing. Additionally, David has expertise in the operation of process equipment associated with electrical generation; installation of LAN systems; and installation and testing of digital control systems.

William W. Woodard, Chief Operating Officer

Bill is the Chief Operating Officer of DB Technologies, Inc. Co-founder of the company in 2003, Bill has 25 years of experience in the utilities and technology industries. Prior to forming the company with David Hawkins, Bill served in an executive position with Public Service Company of New Mexico — a position he retired from after 20 years of service.

Bill has served as a Certified Fiber Optic Technician for FiberLite International and received specialized fiber optics training at Siecor. His experience and expertise in network design and engineering is unsurpassed in the marketplace.

As the leader of DB Technologies day-to-day operations, Bill’s primary focus is on customer relations and exceeding customer expectations. His experience in job estimating, installation and testing of digital control systems, scheduling multiple projects on time and on budget; and in quality control has earned him respect amongst his peers and clients alike.

Bill also carries expertise in splicing, troubleshooting, bi-directional testing, and power meter testing to the organization. His project management has spanned a wide national geographic scope.

Randy Erickson, Safety Coordinator

Randy has been with DB Technologies, Inc., for two years as the Safety Coordinator. A graduate of Utah State University, Randy’s over 35 years of safety experience began in the construction industry in Utah and Wyoming. A vast and in depth range of safety experience garnered from a long-standing career within the industry, makes Randy a valuable asset to DB Technologies, Inc and to our clients and customers.

Before joining our company, Randy owned and operated his own company — Wyesaunt — which offered safety program development, training, onsite supervision and consulting services for construction projects. He also worked with Elkhorn Construction as their Director of Safety; Owned and Operated ProSafe in Evanston, Wyoming — a consultancy insuring compliance with OSHA standards and company specific safety rules.

Randy’s certifications and accreditations are numerous, and his ongoing commitment to continuing education and training in safety will provide our clients with the most up-to-date industry insight.

Randy Cook, Tech and Mechanic

Randy is one of our experienced technical staff handling co-axial, fiber and phone trouble shooting. He adds to his area of responsibility, the care of our vehicle fleet. As Randy is an expert mechanic, we are pleased to have this in house resource.
